| Attribute | Lyophilized vial | Pre-mixed solution |
|---|---|---|
| Preparation | Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water | Ready to use |
| Concentration control | Set by researcher at reconstitution | Fixed (e.g. 10MG/ML) |
| Shelf stability (sealed) | Long — months refrigerated, longer frozen | Moderate — store cool and dark |
| Post-opening stability | Weeks refrigerated once reconstituted | Per-compound; keep sealed between uses |
| Typical compounds | Peptides (BPC-157, GLP-1 analogs, GHRPs) | Small molecules (SARMs, Rev-Erb agonists, SERMs) |
Choosing a format
Peptides are supplied lyophilized because the freeze-dried state protects the molecule from hydrolysis and aggregation. Small molecules with good solubility in the chosen carrier are supplied as pre-mixed solutions for repeatable concentration. Use the Reconstitution Calculator when preparing lyophilized material.
